Humboldt County Juvenile Hall
Overview: New electrical installation for Humboldt County’s new Juvenile Hall Replacement Facility.
Challenges: Due to our extensive commercial building experience, Valu Electric was selected to come in and fix what a previous electrical contractor had done wrong and never finished. We had to determine what needed to be done and re-done and complete the project on a tight schedule. Also a challenge was coordinating with other contractors and working on a state job in a high security environment while keeping and COVID19 compliant.
Results: Success. Project delivered on-time, on-budget, and on-spec. We were able to correct the previous contractors errors and get the job done right. The overall project is great for the community, allowing troubled youth to get the help they need in a new modern facility.
