Congratulations to our intern Luis Landeros for completing his internship and preparing to begin school at CSU San Diego. Since January, Luis assisted Valu Group’s Engineering Division with research and manufacturing projects. We wish Luis the best of luck in San Diego!
Robotics R&D
Valu Group’s Engineering Division is developing a scale-model robotic arm for one of our industrial packinghouse clients. This model is an example of an efficient solution for palletizing finished boxes of fruit. The model is built with an Arduino processor and servo motors. Giovanni Lomeli is from Downey California, the youngest of 3 brothers, and his family is orginally from Mexico. Gio Graduated from UCI, Class of 2021, and majored in Civil Engineering. We are excited he has come to Valu to expand his knowledge of commercial construction and learn more about what we do best. Fathers Day Golf Tournament
As part of our commitment to the communites we work in, Valu sponsored and participated in the 1st Annual Firecracker Cordova Fathers Day Golf Tournament. The tournament raises money for Firecracker Cordova girls youth softball. Firecracker’s mission and values align with our own values and include teaching youth about having self-respect, respecting others, and appreciating our soldiers, parents, grandparents, teachers, and anyone who has fought for the lives we have today.
